Movement Mash-Up

         In this project I used a renaissance painting by DaVinci called The Mona Lisa.  By using the program Photoshop I created a cubism photo of the Mona Lisa. Cubism is the process in which one creates abstract art full of what seems to be random shapes and angles. To create the cubism Mona Lisa I used the following tools; the rectangular marquee tool, the effects inner glow, a pattern, and the free transform tool. First off I used the rectangular marquee tool which helps you select a square or rectangle from the original photo. Next, I used the effects inner glow which helps create depth and make the selected square seem more like its floating in mid air. Thirdly, I put a pattern on some of the selected squares which gives the square a more finished look. Finally, I used the free transform tool. This tool helps a lot in the cubism process because it allows you to move the selected square and change its shape so it will look three dimensional. The finishes product would be considered cubism because it has in depth squares and random shapes and angles. It also has different parts of the pictures seen in many perspectives. So the Mona Lisa has now been recreated in a new creative way.
